Welcome again!

Hi guys! Hope you enjoyed the karipap and teh tarik on Market Day. We have an additional 46 members who signed up with UQMSA, making our total 239. Welcome! This semester, we are planning the usual fun suspects, such as Mamak and Movie Night. Don't forget the Merdeka Ball! It's going to be a great semester!

We are hoping to hold a welcome BBQ soon, just like the one last semester. Details will be sent out via email and posted on this blog as soon as we confirm everything. In the meantime, new members can explore this blog, and please forward any queries to us via email at uniqmsa@gmail.com

ReUnion Week Market Day

Hey everyone!

Market Day for this semester is this coming Wednesday (25th July 2007) so don't forget to come by, say hello and bring your friends and freshies who aren't members for registration. As it's midway through the year, rego will only cost $4. Also, we'll be giving out karipap and teh tarik to all old and new members. We're hoping this will be the perfect start to a great semester, so don't miss out! It will start at 10 am and end at 3 pm.

MASCA AGM (26th July 2007)

The following is an e-mail from MASCA that all UQMSA members should have received by now. If you see any of the exiting MASCA committee around, do congratulate and thank them for a great year!

Dear all,

2006/7 has been an eventful year for MASCA Queensland. With joint effort from other associations such as UQMSA, MYSA-QUT, PPMQ, UMNO and PQSA, MASCA Queensland has scaled new heights with highly successful events such as the Merdeka Night 06, the first Intervarsity Games in 2007 and as well as our largest and highest ranked (we got 3rd place) contingent to the NCG this year in Melbourne. We, at MASCA Queensland, would like to take the opportunity to thank all of you for your support and participation in these events.
