AGM is over! Thank you to everyone who showed up to our very long and intense meeting despite a very busy assignment and assessment filled month. Your presence is deeply appreciated and valued as it has helped us elect our incoming committee members for 2016.  UQMSA would like to thank all candidates at the AGM who ran for any positions. Your spirit and determination definitely gave life to the meeting as it made it more interesting. Thank you so much for participating in the meeting and remember to never give up. You'll never know what the future holds.

UQMSA Semester 2 Outdoor Excursion: Sunshine Coast‏

Mid-sem break is nearing (did we just hear someone cheering? :P ), which is the time for you to momentarily forget about the uni workload!

UQMSA Semester 2 OUTDOOR EXCURSION

Monday, 28th Sept | 7.30 AM - 7.30 PM | $45 (covering lunch, transport, and water activities)

Exclusively for current UQMSA members only​

This time UQMSA is taking you to the beautiful Sunshine Coast for:

1. Strawberry Picking, and

2. Water Activities, including Stand Up Paddling (SUP), Kayaking and SUP Squatch (we were told it’s a “Giant Board”!)

Feeling stressed over countless assignments and exams? Chin up, for beauty is all around you. Remember to gaze into the clear night sky, as you will be able to see the roundest moon of the year pretty soon. Yes, the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival is just around the corner!

UQMSA Semester 2 2015 Funlympics‏

Hello members! Hope everyone is doing well with their mid-semester exams or assignments. Let’s release all that accumulated stress during these past few weeks! But how, you may ask? That’s a good question because we might have the perfect solution for you and that is,

UQMSA’s

--- FUNLYMPICS ---

UQMSA’s first ever sports event which lets y'all have a day of fun under the sun! :D

Below are the details regarding the event:

Date: 19th September 2015 (Saturday)

Time: 8.30am - 1:00pm

Venue: William Dart Park (Munro Playing Field)

Sports: Dodgeball & Ultimate Frisbee

Fee: $3 members & $6 non-members (This will be collected on the day itself)

***Don’t know how to play any of the sports? Fret not. We will hold a brief tutorial on the day. Just bring your best attitude and enjoy the game.***

Registration for this event is COMPULSORY and is done individually, as we will be randomly allocating you into teams. Registration closes on 15th September (Tuesday) and successful registrations will be notified via confirmation emails on the deadline day. Light refreshments will also be provided. :)
