MASCA Inter-varsity Games
Hey everyone! :)
Hope your assignments are going well and that you all had fun at the Inter-varsity Games! Congratulations to all players. The rain did nothing to hinder your spirits and that's very admirable. If you have any feedback or would just like to congratulate MASCA on a job well done, their e-mail address is mascaqld@gmail.com
All the best to the netball and basketball players who still have games up ahead on Friday and Saturday. The netball players will be playing from 7-9 pm on Friday, and the basketball players will be strutting their stuff from 5-6 pm on Sunday, so you know what to do this weekend! :)

Moreton Bay 1 Day Tour
Attention : All those who signed up for the 1 Day Tour
Hi everyone!
Hope you all remember that the 1 day trip to Moreton Island is on 15 April, this Sunday (I apologize for the late reminder). We will be leaving the UQ Lakes bus stop at 7 am (yes, that's 7 in the MORNING) and the trip shall end about 6 pm. So please be there by 6.45am, at the latest, because we really do NOT want to delay the trip as it would ruin the entire itinerary.
Ok, just a recap, in case your vision went all fuzzy in that paragraph.

Additional UQMSA Sponsor
Great news, guys!
We've managed to secure another sponsor for UQMSA! Every member is entitled to 15% off your total bill at Jindalee Oriental, a Malaysian-Chinese restaurant located at the Jindalee Homemaker City that's along the 450 bus route (get off after the small roundabout and when you see the big McDonald's sign coming up!). Just remember to bring and show your membership card.
Also, you should have received the entry form and flyer on the Inter-Varsity Games. Apparently, I forwarded an outdated copy to everyone, so I had to send out another email with the new copy. Oops! Sorry about that, guys. Anyway, if you haven't received them, please e-mail uniqmsa@gmail.com with the subject 'Inter-Varsity Games' and we will forward a copy to you, or just visit the MASCA QLD website.
Hope your holidays are going well!

Upcoming Events Easter 2007
Hey guys!
Hope you all had a great time at Mamak Nite! It was really good to see everyone get to know each other a little better and enjoy the lovely food especially prepared for the event. Just a reminder that PPMQ (Persatuan Pelajar-Pelajar Melayu Queensland) will be holding a free BBQ at Guyatt Park on the 8th of April from 10 am onwards and there will be a football game in the evening.
Also, the Malaysian Students Department will be sending two representatives on the 9th of April (Monday) to UQ to meet undergraduate students from 10 am till 12 pm at room T203, Building 50. If you would like to voice any concerns or issues to them or would just like to get to know your representatives better, then do try to make it. Lunch will be provided.
Have a lovely Easter weekend!
