Muslim Students Association of UQ (MSAUQ) will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr at Guyatt Park (corner of Sir Fred Schonell Drive and Macquarie Street, St Lucia.).
The proposed agenda for the event is as follows:
0600: Setup Venue: lay out mats, tarpaulins, setup speaker system, put up tents.
0730: Arrival of Guests
0800: Briefing of Eid Salaah Procession
0805: Eid Salaah Begins
0815: Eid Salaah Ends
0816: Eid Khutbah Begins
0840: Eid Khutbah Ends
0840: Feast Begins: we hope to have Ala-din's Catering for food.
1045: Venue Clean Up
1100: Function Adjourned
REMINDER: Please bring prayer mats in case we run out of them and please bring umbrella in case it rains.
PLEASE NOTE: IF IT IS RAINING, we will use one of the large rooms at UQ (possibly the Holt Room).
