UQMSA will be holding our Semester II Welcoming BBQ this Sunday (3 August 2008) at South Bank Parklands at 12 pm.
If you have missed your registration with us on Market Day, feel free to register with us on the BBQ itself. Registration fee is AUD($)4 for the semester. Free food and drinks for all our members as usual.

Venue: South Bank Parklands, Brisbane City
Dress: Patriotic theme (colours of red, white, blue, yellow)
Foooooodssss, gamesssss, and come meet your fellow Malaysians at UQ !!!For those who're new to Brisbane, you can get to South Bank Parklands by taking the City Express Bus (444, 425, 450, 460, etc) that stops at the Cultural Centre Busway. Or, you can take the Citycat Ferry that stops at the South Bank Terminal. Check out the Translink website

For St Lucia newbies, take the city-bound CityCat from Guyatt Park or UQ, and stop at South Bank Parklands (after North Quay). Fare: $2.10 offpeak (weekend two-n-fro within 2 zones) concession per person with student ID.
Upon arriving, walk along the Brisbane river until you see the BBQ pits area (green lawn area) near the Suncorp Piazza. Look out for our Malaysian flag and if you really can't find us, just call
