QUTMYSA's Exotic Malaysia Day

We interrupt your studies (that we hope are going well!) to announce that Queensland University of Technology Malaysian Students' Association (QUTMYSA) has cordially invited us to their Exotic Malaysia Day this Friday at the Kelvin Grove Campus, QUT. There will be food, batik and traditional performances and games. To get there, please catch the 333 bus from Adelaide Street. When you alight at the 412 bus-stop, all you have to do is walk towards the street away from the casino, cross the road and it will be on your left. It only takes 10 minutes to get there from the city, so it would be a short and sweet diversion from all that revision! ;)

The details they have included:

Exotic Malaysia 07
Venue: A Block Lawn, Kelvin Grove QUT
Date: 1 June 2007
Day: Friday
Time: 1130am-5pm
Attire: Traditional Costumes

All members should have received our e-mail regarding this event, with the map, directory and poster of the event attached. If you would like any additional details, please contact QUTMYSA at qutmysa@yahoo.com

Free Movie!

Hello everyone!

Our activity for the month of May? We'll be having a free screening of Mukhsin in the Abel Smith Lecture Theatre this Friday from 7:30 onwards! It should take no longer than 2 hours, for all you party animals who normally have big plans for Friday nights, so you can still head out afterwards. :) It's a great movie directed by Yasmin Ahmad of the Sepet and Gubra fame so you should know what a good time you're in for. Plus, there's always our company, which *ahem* is of course, awesome. :P It's also got Malay subtitles. Do come along! Any of your interested friends can join the fun too!

See ya there! :)
