UQMSA will be organising a Movie Night this 4th of September. This event will be a social gathering where the members can meet and greet each other and at the same time watch a good (hopefully) movie. The details are as follows:
Date: 4th September 2009 (Friday)
Time: TBC but approx. 7+ PM
Venue: Birch Carroll Coyle, Indooroopilly Shopping Centre
Movie: The Taking of Pelham 123
Price: $6.50
We hope to gather as many members as possible for this event. However, as we need to book the places beforehand, we would like members that are interested in coming for the event (really sure about it) to reply this message before the 30th of August 2009. Any message received after that may be ignored due to logistical constraints. In your reply, please mention your name(s) and student number(s). Any other information that you would like to include is indeed welcomed.

UQMSA Welcome BBQ for Semester 2 '09
Dear members,
This semester's welcoming BBQ for all UQMSA members will be held as follows:
Date: Saturday, 8th August 2009
Time: 11.00 am to 2.30 pm
Venue: UQ Lakes, UQ St Lucia
This event is open to all members and for those who are interested in joining UQMSA. Registration booth will be open during the day itself. For members, don't forget to bring your membership card for the BBQ.
Feel free to come and enjoy the BBQ with the rest of Malaysian comunity in UQ.
