Jom Makan! Sem 2 is BACK!!!

HELLO EVERYONEEEE! Hope you guys are doing well preparing and battling your mid semester exams!

Guess what?! We’re back with one of the most anticipated event of each semester, previously known as Makan Night. But now it’s called.......

JOM MAKAN!

The time round, we’re bringing 3 MAIN DISHES and a few  SIDES ! To spice things up this semester, we have also included some Bake Goodies up for sale!

The menu for our Jom Makan event this time around will be:

1.     Nasi Dagang

2.     Nasi tomato + ayam masak merah

3.     Chicken Rice

4.     Cucur Pisang

5.     Egg tarts

6.     Nutella Brownie

7.     English butter cookies

8.     Churros Cupcake

9.     Cheesecake

The price listed above are the PREORDER process for UQMSA members. Non-members will have to pay an extra $0.50 for each item. Non pre-order orders will have to pay more on the day itself. Pre-order forms will be activated from: 2^nd September 2017 till 10^th September 2017, 10pm

Each person is allowed to order a minimum of 2 mains each. For e.g. 2 Hainanese Chicken Rice & 2 Nasi Dagang).

Time: 11am – 2pm

Pre-order time will close on 10^th September2017, 10pm. Those who have successful placed their orders will receive a confirmation via email, regarding their emails from the committee on 11^th September 2017.

UQMSA achievements

To start of the year, we would like to congratulate the 2015/2016 UQMSA Committee member for a job well done through out their term leading this Association. In 2016, UQMSA manage to attain ourself in UQ Union Clubs and Societies 2016 Awards Night with the following, We were Finalist for Cultural Event of the Year- Mid Autumn Festival, Fundraising Event of the Year- Malaysia's Got Talent, President of the Year - Luvesh Sadhwani and Social Conveners of the Year- Ashley Abinash Anthony & Tiara Wong. A big congratulations to Kor Hong Wee for getting the 1st Runner Up for Secretary of the Year! And Finally, we were the WINNER for Publication Award - UQMSA's Survival Guide!!

In behalf of the 2016/2017 committee, we would like to congratulate the 2015/2016 UQMSA committee member once more for their hard work and sweat into this Association, and not to mention, A BIG THANK YOU to all our members that have been supporting us and the events we have came up for you guys, your presence has strongly inspired us fellow committee members to offer the best quality of service there is to the Malaysian Community here is Brisbane.
