We’ve held a workshop on the 15th of April and the follow up workshop was on the 13th of May!
Thanks to Ms. Celia Yeo and Mr. Rahmat Shazi (our very own UQMSA Secretary), we’ve learnt a whole bunch of new knowledge on how to compose a resume which will actually catch the eye of the recruitment officer of a certain certain company!!
With Celia’s interesting way of presenting, we were totally engrossed in her talks. Besides, we’ve also got to do hands on work like identifying good resume and bad resume, and also write a short example of our resume!
We would like to thank all who have participated in both workshops and also, special special thanks to Celia Yeo from BEL Faculty and Rahmat from UQMSA again for their invaluable knowledge!! :)

My cousin's daughter also attended a resume writing workshop last week here in Washington. My cousin told me that the resume writing workshop was sponsored by a well-known food processing company in cooperation with their College Alumni Association. The purpose of the activity is to teach fresh graduates how to find a job and refresh them re: the interview process.
Additionally, the activity was enjoyable and memorable for his daughter because it's full of fun and it helped her land a job. Add to this the fact that the workshop was held in a posh D.C. meeting space in one of its function and meeting rooms (Washington D.C.) area.
